The Learning Center

Eleven students, along with two teachers, traveled to Germany and Austria for eight days in May. In Austria, they took part in a physically active program in the outdoors. The Outward Bound program saw the students doing such activities as hiking in the mountains and along rivers, rappelling down cliffs, sliding along ropes over rivers, and staying overnight in a remote, rustic cabin. Throughout the program, students learned to work cooperatively with others while at the same time pushing themselves to their furthest limits. Everyone who was on the trip considered it a huge success and the memories of it will last a lifetime.
