Academic
The Learning Center School program serves students in grades one through twelve. We provide educational opportunities for those students who have experienced academic problems in the past. Our school is composed of separate elementary, middle and high school programs.
Class size is limited to ten students in order to maximize the individual attention provided to the student. In addition, the elementary program provides the assistance of an aide in each classroom through grade five.
All students take a comprehensive educational curriculum that includes math, English, social studies, science, Arabic and physical education. Islamic studies, art, IT and health are also offered.
Flexible grouping of students is utilized in English and math in order to further facilitate student's ability to learn at their individual pace. Each student has an Alternative Education Plan (AEP) which is designed to set goals and measure the progress a student makes throughout the year.
