Parents

Parent participation and involvement is exceptionally important at The Learning Center School. When students face academic challenges, it is the support of the parents and their cooperation with the school that makes a difference. TLCS expects parents to attend meetings called by the teachers or administration. We also encourage the involvement in school activities such as PTA.

Parent Involvement and Support

In order for The Learning Center School to operate effectively; staff, parents and students each play a vital role in creating an atmosphere supportive of learning. Effective communication and high expectations for appropriate behavior are essential. There is an attempt at TLCS to keep rules to a minimum and emphasis is placed on rewarding positive behavior. Working together with families, we provide a school climate that encourages personal responsibility and respect for our educational environment.

Parent Teacher Association

The goal of the PTA is to help enrich the educational environment and learning experience of all students at TLCS. The PTA raises funds and hold sponsored events throughout the academic year to support the school in enhancing the educational program. The PTA also acts as a liaison between parents, administrators, and teachers. Some of the activities that the PTA is involved with: Qatar National Day, Bake Sales, Sports Day, Staff Appreciation, and the School Bazaar to name but a few. Meetings take place on Mondays from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the following dates:
